Created in 1999, the Causses du Quercy Regional Nature Park was designated a UNESCO Global Geopark in 2017 and helps to preserve the area’s geological and natural heritage. The local flora and European wildlife are showcased at the Gramat animal park.
The black triangle of Quercy
With its night sky free from light pollution, the famous black triangle of Quercy is a particularly privileged observation spot that attracts astronomical tourism. It stretches between Labastide-Murat, Livernon and Sauliac-sur-Célé.
Figeac
Figeac is home to the Champollion Museum and a giant reproduction of the Rosetta Stone, deciphered by this local boy, one of the founders of modern Egyptology.
